Substance Abuse Policy
This document outlines the Substance Use Policy for Installers working with Steady Install. It is essential for all Installers to adhere to these guidelines to ensure a safe and professional working environment.
Policy Overview
All Installers are required to report to job sites in an appropriate mental and physical condition to perform services in a safe and satisfactory manner. The use of drugs or alcohol is inconsistent with the professional standards expected of Installers on the Steady Install platform. Such behavior subjects clients, other workers, and the public to unacceptable safety risks and reflects poorly on the reputation of the Steady Install network.
Terms and Conditions
Prohibited Conduct
The use, possession, distribution, transfer, manufacture, or sale of illegal drugs, medicinal marijuana, or alcohol, or being under the influence of these substances, is strictly prohibited while:
Present at any Client job site or facility.
Actively performing installation services.
Operating any vehicle or equipment in connection with a specific project or job.
Impairment
Installers must not report to a job site if their ability to perform services is impaired by the use of any substance, legal or illegal. This includes ensuring that any off-duty consumption does not impact safety or performance during scheduled project hours.
Site Compliance
To ensure safety and compliance, Installers are subject to the specific security and inspection policies of the Client or job site owner while on their premises. Bringing prohibited substances onto a job site is a violation of the Provider Agreement and may result in immediate removal from the project and deactivation from the platform.
